Ruby Tan
Ruby Tan is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of specialised experience in Singapore taxation.
She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and holds the designation of Accredited Tax Professional (ATP) for both Income Tax and GST with the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals Limited.
Background and Experience
Ruby graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy.
Before joining MHSG, Ruby was the Tax Director in charge of the tax practice at Heng Lee Seng LLP. She had also held a senior leadership position as Tax Director at one of Singapore’s largest international mid-tier accounting firms. She provided tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio, including listed companies, multinational corporations and local enterprises.
Her extensive experience covers corporate and individual income tax, goods and services tax (GST) and cross-border tax advisory across industries such as manufacturing, trading, food and beverage and hospitality.
At MHSG, Ruby leads the firm’s Tax Advisory and Compliance division, offering clients strategic, practical and regulatory-compliant tax solutions. She is passionate about helping businesses navigate complex tax landscapes, optimise tax efficiency and stay compliant with Singapore’s evolving tax regulations.
